Ksenia - from LinkedIn photo to chibi figure

Ksenia and I were working together. At some point, I thought her marketing could use a fun physical element — a custom figure seemed like the right idea. She's of Ukrainian descent, which turns out to be relevant.
The process was a three-step chain. First, her LinkedIn headshot went into Google Nano Banana, which generated a plush-style visualization — a soft, rounded, stuffed-toy version of the photo. That gave a good sense of proportions and character before committing to anything printable. From there, the same reference went into Bambu Makerlab, which converted it into a printable chibi 3D model. I tweaked what I could and sent it to the Snapmaker U1.
Three filaments for the figure: yellow for the hair, blue for the suit, and white for the shirt underneath. The base was a separate print — drybrushed with Leadbelcher to get that dark metallic finish, with her name embossed on it.
It was only after it came off the bed that I noticed: yellow hair, blue suit. Ukrainian flag. Completely unintentional — those are just her actual colors. She found it appropriate. I'll take the accidental symbolism.

Pracowałem z Ksenią i w pewnym momencie stwierdziłem, że fajnie byłoby zrobić jej coś fizycznego do marketingu. Figurka wydała się dobrym pomysłem. Ma ukraińskie korzenie — co okazało się istotne, choć nie planowałem tego z góry.
Zdjęcie z LinkedIn poszło najpierw przez Google Nano Banana, żeby zobaczyć, jak wyglądałaby wersja pluszowa. Miękka, zaokrąglona maskotka — dobry punkt wyjścia, zanim cokolwiek trafiło do druku. Potem to samo zdjęcie do Bambu Makerlab, który wygenerował model chibi. Trochę poprawek i na Snapmaker U1.
Trzy filamenty na figurkę: żółty na włosy, niebieski na garnitur, biały na koszulę. Podstawka drukowana osobno, wykończona drybrushem Leadbelchera, imię wygrawerowane w podstawie.
Jak figurka zeszła ze stołu, dopiero wtedy to zobaczyłem: żółte włosy, niebieski garnitur. Flaga Ukrainy. Czysty przypadek — to po prostu jej kolory. Uznała, że tak powinno być.
